Hot Toys Ironman Mark IV (4) with Gantry

So my great best friend bought me this as a birthday present this year! This figure while it is not one of the more modern designs, it is extremely high quality and diecast metal.

Of course, everything comes in a box! You should know that by now........

So why was this made? Because of THIS;

So can he pose? Yes! I just didn't want to damage this 1200$ product by manhandling it, you probably shouldn't pose this thing much, this is a display piece, like Gundams, you don't touch and play with this, pose it and leave it.

Optimal Optimus from TransArt Toys

Transformers figures have significantly degraded in the last few years, everything is a G1 brick reinvented into a.....NEWER BRICK. Not appealing! So that leaves me to find third-party versions of my favorite "modern" characters and I finally found an Optimal Optimus that is fully articulated and doesn't look like a brick!

What is an Optimal Optimus? Well he is an Optimus who combined with the spark (heart) of G1 Optimus and gained this form:

Comes in a box? Yeah? BOX!

Canons can retract! Has articulation! WEEEEEE!

Let me show you what I mean:

Armor from his arms can become shields on his shoulders!

So what does he transform into? He has 3 modes;

Revoltech Batman

This old man has been rocking his old underwear in blue and grey on the outside of his suit for I do not know how long. (Quite embarrassing for whoever came up with that idea) But, it was time to change all that and say "Old is NOT gold" and finally someone at the Revoltech factory decided to say "New is BOLD, old CAN'T be SOLD" and made a Batman figure that is actually modern and likable!

 I am going to take a leap from less than 2 Cm above ground.....to do BATMAN STUFF!!!
