It an Optimus! He looks like he always did before but somehow I thought I wanted to get it....seeee? not much explanation is needed when you're pleasing G1ers by buying something that is a new pose-able version of their olden golden poopen days.
See if you look closely, he has a chest that does not please a lot of people, oh you know the usual "it's not accurate to the G1 cartoon"
Well those of you who live in the old days, even the animation was not "accurate" to what they imagined in the old days so deal with it and enjoy this new version!
So what is so unique this time? Well for starters this Optimus is an Optimus and Orion Pax (His old self prior to him becoming Optimus) Orion Pax transforms into the truck cab as well as the chest. So this is a neat package in one of two transformers!
See? You can have both....well one at one time......and the other by combining them into one. Bet this will scare you in the night if you just happened to take your chest to the restroom?
And there you go...insert gently........
Light up the darkest hour by opening your chest (rightttt) to reveal the Matrix of Leadership. Neat that it comes with one.
